Creature In The Spiral is a dream pop artist from Texas, USA. Raul Gonzalez Jr has been creating catchy pop songs in his bedroom studio under this name for years now. I've been a fan since I first heard his "Islands Vol 1" album back in 2019 and we're honoured to release his music as a cassette on Crafting Room Recordings.

These well crafted dreamy songs have been infused with acoustic guitar, swirling distorted guitar and pingy synths. The whole collection creates a cohesive listen with a natural break halfway through.

Side A consists of the Dec E.P. (originally released December 7th 2020) and Side B is the Feb E.P. with an exclusive bonus track (originally released February 5th 2021)

"I’ve been thinking a lot about why things happen, and the way that they do. Are we on a predetermined path, or do we have full control over our destiny? Making music makes feel like I have control over that destiny. It's not that I feel like I’m destined to make music or anything, but I do get a good feeling, a rush, when I create music. This is what fuels CITS. I want to make music to feel alive. Like I’m driving forward on my path at one-hundred miles per hour. Dec features songs that make me miss the way things used to be, and Feb has songs that make me feel like I’m on the right path. I’m grateful for everyone that crosses paths with me. It’s meant to be.
