1.
Hands reached out You were all I could see Running between the trees We fell through the leaves Wind shakes the sky The curtain is undone Lying in the woods Spinning round and round The winter air fell Darkness set in deep Slipping from my arms You fell through the leaves Ice froze the stars Darkness broke apart New life bloomed Where I lived before
2.
Her thoughts echoed through the radio The sky twisting purple and filled with snow Colour drained, fleeing from the rain Marble black and sepia air a haze The second hand hesitates Glass fence disintegrates Fingers clasped and knuckles white I drowned in my dreams that night My shadowed thoughts intertwine And I can’t help thinking back to a time when you, were, mine The second hand hesitates Glass fence disintegrates Fingers clasped and knuckles white I’m standing in the black abyss My shadowed thoughts intertwine And I can’t help thinking back to a time when we, were, all, gone Limbo rain and the marble is black Stuck in the pool and I can’t go back My eyes so bright for the world to see I’m left in between, there's nothing but me Turn it around Happy beyond reason, can’t make a sound Stuck in the void I once was lost, but now am found
3.
I don’t wanna leave home I don’t wanna leave home Now that you are with me I just need to stay here I don’t wanna leave home I don’t wanna leave home Live my life so slowly Sitting right by your side Locked in the park, can’t leave the lake Spelling out my thoughts under the oak My memories shifting in retrograde And I think I could stay, but it’s all the same Lying in the grass, eyes to the sky And everything makes sense when your by my side But summer will last forever, waiting for rain Driving right through the day, to spend some time at your house And I was locked in the park alone, no faces by the lake Sun shines down on my face, through the leaves of the oak :

Finally Free 04:24
I’m floating miles above The weightless space sinks down and My thoughts between my eyes shift An empty year with no new sound Staring up past the walls A guiding light flickers by I’m floating, floating miles above I’m floating, floating, floating, floating The twisting seas and stretching hills Winding paths that reach and fill My mind with its thoughts of you Couldn’t hold on I was slipping through Standing up with the waves behind Crashing down I lose my sight I’m floating through the summer months I’m floating, floating miles above I lost my way I can’t go back, not for a day I’m floating floating endlessly My time will stretch infinitely I lost my way I can’t go back, not for a day I’m lost lost in the world I’m floating floating, floating, floating Come now the night travels slowly Can’t sleep with those thoughts in your head I can see this was meant to be Across the world and I’m finally free
5.
The Storm 04:07
Standing in the rain you said There’s a cloud hanging over my head Electricity in the air Standing in the storm without a care Shards of light falling from the sky Lightning striking in my mind Those eyes of the cloud staring back at me And the rain in my brain begins to flee Wind howling through my hair Took my heart, lighter than air Crashing down, through the eye of the storm Black clouds twist and transform A monsoon raging overground I’m trapped in my thoughts, can’t make a sound Your soul outstretched, my life’s on the line Standing in the rain just waiting for a sign My past muffled underfoot I’m lost for words, that I’ve overlooked You can’t lose your smile, can’t let it be With your eyes like the sky staring back at me
6.
Floating free Under the heath Humming green Surrounds me Through the depths I found you (around me) Pulled me out Moonlight Echoes round the walls The closing pit and Tunnels through the floor Through the depths I found you (around me) Pulled me out The ca-ve
7.
Floating Through Held by the tide Sinking Down Deeper this time Sinking down I hear no sound The sun is no more Lying on the floor Bubbles Rise I Close my Eyes Warm and Safe It’s your Embrace
8.
The blossom so bright Cherry filled my sight Air light with a breeze Petals and the leaves Float by (the) babbling brook Brighten the corners here The swaying tall trees Shadow thatch the clouds Air light with a breeze Waving, swaying sea A path through the pool Water lines the walls Sparkling sunlight gleams Reflections of dreams The moon takes the sky Rippling through my lives Air heavy with the wind Thrashing, bubbling tide Air light with a breeze Waving, swaying sea Standing, knee deep the Brook froze my shins, laughing with Trees, grass and the bridge Trees in the distance Pink walled cottages or is It cherry blossom? Running on the ridge My house down below, I Don’t know how I’ll leave I am with guitar Stringing chords along trying To catch a moment
9.
Sunlight 04:56
You simply sweep me off my feet We’re iron clad and I’m incomplete You share your thoughts and i’m sharing mine Talk so long with no sense of time The silence slipping through the gaps No sound for days, don’t see for weeks Every night I sleep and every day I wake I think of you but, all you do is take Sunlight shining right into my eyes Blind to the mess that I've made and I Wish that you would stay right by my side I’m better off leaving our thoughts combined
10.
All I could see Running between the trees Stuck in the void I once was lost Warm and safe Through the depths I found you I found you
11.
Talking round the fire, and I could sink into the flames The dull drone surrounds us, from the ashes I would rise And I think I should be leaving, but your eyes beg me to stay Something without warning, on this cool summers day I was never one for goodbyes There by the window Standing in the dark Red and Gold air, floating with no care The nights getting shorter now, I want you to stay here with me Blue and green skies, fracturing my whole life I want you to stay here with me, sitting on the roof till 3 It’s like I’m underwater, looking backwards through the clouds A cold sigh escapes my lips, wide eyes fixed down I think I should be leaving, but there’s something in the sky You fade into the distance as though I never tried

about

Taking influence from bands such as: The Cure, DIIV, Joy Division and The Chameleons. Archie Sager's debut album reflects on his life so far, combining Dream Pop and Shoegaze with Indie hooks and slowing down for more Ambient sections inspired by Eno.

This album is about the period between childhood and adulthood. Questioning yourself, meeting new people and finding a purpose all impose looming challenges. Whether it’s the fear of leaving “I Don’t Wanna Leave Home” the feeling of being stuck without a purpose “Finally Free” and “Stuck in the Void” or finding a guiding hand “I Found You.” The songs also pause on moments of peace “Beneath the Surface” and “Cherry Blossom” where the worries of the world don’t seem to matter. Archie Sagers’ debut album is about accepting change around you and enjoying experiences for what they are. I hope you can all welcome the steady march of time and experience a “Happy New Year”

Three singles from the album have been previously released (Beneath the Surface, Through the Leaves and Finally Free) with the second single being picked up by the spotify editorial team.

This album feels like a culmination of my life so far. Its filled my days during lockdown and is incredibly important to me.

Thank you all for a wonderful year (despite the pretty bad year the world has given us) - I'm extremely excited about the future of the label

"combines the driving bass lines of Peter Hook with the chilling guitar work of Robert Smith to provide plenty of post-punk energy, pulsating rhythms, and thought-provoking DIY psychedelic visuals" - WhiteLight WhiteHeat

Finally Free - "A blanket of synths trails this lovely adventure, ascending crisp cymbals and steady drum progressions beckoning groovy, bass line fixtures. Featuring a muffled voice lethargic and beaten through an infinite space of reverberation." - Anti: Music Review
